บทคัดย่อ -
Abstarct "Klom Nittra" A Creative Work of Sawsamsai Solo for Sleep Aids originated from the concept of ancient scholars who used Sawsamsai (a three-threaded Thai string musical instrument), bandhaw (a small drum), and the conductor together as a musical ensemble called the "Klom Phra Banthom" (Sleep-lulling song). They performed the song to lull the King to sleep after performing various royal duties. According to empirical data, the current sleeplessness problem among Thai people accounts for 30–40% of the population and is a contributing factor to various diseases, particularly those related to mental health. This creative work employed analysis, synthesis, and deconstruction of the conceptual structure of the song "Klom Phra Banthom." The song was originally created to lull people to sleep in the past and is now presented as an alternative song to help alleviate sleeplessness in people experiencing it today. The purpose of this creative work is to create a musical composition of a sawsamsai solo, "Klom Nittra," used the analysis of the musical components found in the song "Klom Phra Banthom," and to disseminate the song "Klom Nittra" to the general public. The result of the creative work reveals that the song "Klom Nittra" is a single-verse song divided into three parts: the introduction, the song's content, and the conclusion. It has a duration of 6.18 minutes. The composition is created through analysis, synthesis, and deconstruction of the structural framework of the song "Klom Phra Banthom," transmitted from the Bureau of the Phraya Phumisewin (Jit Jittasewee), providing guidance for the creation of "Klom Nittra." The six focal points in creating the song were: 1) It was a song with distant melodies, utilising sustained tones and sequential sounds rather than jumping between notes; 2) The tempo was slow, calm, and consistent, with occasional fluctuations and floating rhythms in certain sections; 3) The song incorporated harmonised pairs of four notes; 4) The song structure was not lengthy, with a main melody and short variations that were repeated; 5) The accompaniment pattern changed in each repetition, creating variation; and 6) The vocal performance and delivery were serene, calm, and refined, following a tranquil and solemn aesthetic. After creating the song "Klom Nittra," it was released to the public through various media platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, and TikTok, serving as an alternative song for those interested in addressing sleep-related issues.
